Jackson's First Lava Lamp

A few days after we got home from the hospital with Jackson, we got a package in the mail for Jackson from his Great Uncle Jim. It was a green and blue lava lamp. It is awesome. We have come to love the lava lamp over the last few years and every time we see one we think of Jim and Carla. You see, Jim and Carla gave us a lava lamp for a wedding gift. We thought, what are we ever going to do with a lava lamp. I didn't want it, my wife didn't want it so it went back to the store with the 6 extra crock pots we also got as wedding gifts. We then used the store credit to buy Christmas lights that we could actually use. A few years later Jim asked us "what did you ever do with the lava lamp we gave you". We don't believe in lying so we just had to tell him we took it back. He took it well and joking about it every time we see him has brought us closer. We give Jim a lot of trouble but we love him very much. Thanks Jim for the cool gift. We promise we will not take this one back to the store.
